Eco-Friendships CIC aims to carry out activities which benefit the community by working in partnership with community based projects and increase public awareness of recycling.
A CIC (Community Interest Company) is a non-profit making organisation. 20% of the revenue from the donated textile is allocated immediately to your local project, the other 80% goes to the running costs of the CIC and therefore leaving the site holder with no outlay. The running costs include banks, delivery, collections and administration.

ISLE OF WIGHT INDEPENDENT LIFEBOAT & INSHORE LIFEBOATS
___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
The Isle of Wight has 3 independent lifeboat / inshore lifeboats, Ryde, Freshwater and Sandown & Shanklin. These all rely on independent funding and do not get any funding from the RNLI (Royal National Lifeboat Institute). Eco-Friendships CIC have partnered with them to support the excellent work they do. The teams are made up of volunteers who give their time to contribute in some way to this vital cause on the island. No more of a worthy cause than one that can save lives..
