Eco-Friendships was set up by individuals who wanted to give something back to the community by direct financial help to local community projects and providing local employment. It is a non-profit making organisation. The Directors and Board Members are very passionate about recycling.
How it works in a nutshell
- Clothing / Shoe Bank sited at no cost to the site holder
- Textile collected on a regular basis
- Eco-Friendships record the weight
- Eco-Friendships sell the textile
- Every 6 months 20% of the revenue from the sold textile will be donated to the partnered local projects

If you are having a jumble sale at your school or community centre, we would be happy to collect any left over clothes and shoes. Please contact us.

2010 Garlic Festival
We had a great time at the Garlic Festival, we are hoping the event encourages people to recycle their clothes and shoes for the benefit of the independent lifeboats and community projects. Lucky the rain held off!
